Börgers
As I mentioned earlier, me and the rest of the national team just got back from a short vacation on Hawaii. 10 days of whale watching, diving with turtles, surfing, umbrella drinks and great food. That is what I call a holiday! Now I know most you are waiting to find out if I had a Hawaiian burger or not. Of course I did! And it was a delicious burger.
Or not really, it might have been the moment I had it in that made it so good. Not that it was a bad burger I any way, but this burger was all over the place. It had guacamole, two different types of cheese, pineapple (of course), plenty of lettuce, bacon, and a lot of other good stuff. So it had everything you can ask for, but still there was something missing. Grade? 3 out of 5

Finally…
…we found some snow that works! We have to hike 2h every morning but at least we are getting some shoots now. If we are lucky a dump is coming tonight, which would make our two last days epic!

Nice days
We are living in a cabin in the woods, so you could say we have limited internet access. The snow situation is getting better. Yesterday we hiked for 2 hours and got some fresh tracks. I will post some pictures soon! My computer is soon out of battery, so have a nice one!

The burger blog is back!
Hello everybody! Jeppe Cool's magical and mysterious burger blog is back.
As you may have noticed I haven’t been very active here lately. I do apologize and blame everyone and everything. Right now I am in Japan after a much needed vacation in Hawaii. It will be very interesting to see what type of burgers Japan has to offer!
This time I will review burgers I had just before I left lovely Åre. Usually I just eat one burger at a time, but this time I decided to have three. These burgers were found, eaten and enjoyed at Dahlboms, which is located on the square in Åre.
Three different burgers, but all amazingly good! One chili burger, one blue cheese burger and one Dahlbom burger. Most of parts of these burgers have been locally produced, which is something I find very positive. It really isn’t that much more to say since everything is there. The meat, all the accessories and the super damn good bread. Of course I could write more, but instead I urge you to come to Åre and try them yourself. An excellent opportunity would be during the Freestyle World Cup, which is between the 12th and 13th of March. I would say that these burgers are the best in Åre!
Grade? 4,5 pairs of mogul skies out of 5.
The blue cheese burger is my favorite.

Taylor the man!
Called our K2 team mate Taylor Ceccanti and asked if it was any good in Cristal Mountain. – Can be! You can crash at my place. So we drove down there and hooked up with him. Turned out to be a good thing to do! Taylor’s cabin is more like a log villa and our first day of skiing had both sun and some pow! I’m feeling a 100 times better than yesterday! Thanks Taylor!

Comp & Shop
Last week I competed in Gressoney/Champoluc, Italy. My friend and fellow Lodger Nina joined me and we found a cool and cheap accomodation next to a cathedral in the valley (yes, it was noisy at 7am when the bells started to ring the sleep out of us...).
The qualification did not start that well, I realized half way up to the competiton area that I accidently took a friend's skies and had to go back down again to get another pair. Then I checked my line, hiked up and started. The run was fluent and felt good, until I came down to the bottom, got stuck in the snow and fell. That was the end of that comp.
The next day we traded skiing for shopping and stoped at a big outlet outside Milan on our way back to Engelberg. We found some rally nice stuff and came back home with some extra bags.
Me and Adam checking our lines before hiking up to the starting point
Killing time waiting for riders meeting
Our hostel to the left, not far away from the church
the outcome of our shopping session. The shopping in Engelberg is a bit limited.
Now my sister is visiting and we are praying for some fresh snow.

Good hostesses & bad weather
uuh..
This has been a frustrating trip. Everything has been on top except the snow conditions. They have been pretty much a disaster. And so has the weather. So yeah, we are trying and trying in hope for some luck!
We have been in Whistler for 5 days, staying with Jenny and Lovisa! They have been very nice to us. It’s not that many girls who can handle four dudes with a lot of stinking baggage. But they do! They even seem to like it:) Must be our northern calm.
yess.. I have to go now. We are heading towards Crystal Mountain in hope of better and colder weather.
I’m out.

Were Is the snow??
Sometimes it´s not so easy to make a film based on skiing. After days of snow, fog and shitty weather in general we had hoped that the snow conditions would be good as soon as it cleared up. But we were wrong. When it finally did clear up the temperature rose to +2 on the top, and it doesn’t look good. The crew is so frustrated right now… We don’t see any storms within 24h of driving and we only have 9 days left. Now we hope for the best and are drive back to the US. We just need a small miracle to get this done!
It did look good for the future
White bird
Anton lost a helmet cam in the Christmas trees. We found it in the slush pow one run later. That’s at least a bit of luck!
End of our luck in Whistler
Internet told us to go south
We saw a real Olympic gold. That’s always something!
Here are a couple of pictures from our trip up north from the US to Whistler, Canada. When we got here our landlord turned one and we celebrated her by making a cake. Thanks Lovisa and Jenny for letting four retards like us stay with you for a couple of days!

A pool on the roof!
To get to Japan we flew by Karlskoga. Most planes do since it is such a nice city from above!
At first we had a lot of snow!
But that snow turned into water and we had to leave...
We got into our car and enjoyed a sushi on the road.
Now we are up north enjoying the pool on the roof (of course I stay at a hotel with a pool on the roof!) while waiting for the snow.
